Fees and Payments
Fees are required to be paid one week in advance. Please note that if your fees become overdue, Shooting Stars Management reserves the right to suspend your child’s care until the account is up to date or a suitable payment plan has been established. Should you be experiencing financial difficulties, we encourage you to discuss your situation with the Director to arrange a mutually agreeable payment plan.

We provide all meals, nappies, water bottles, sunscreen, and other essentials during the day.
Our preferred payment method is direct deposit to our bank account. The details for direct deposit are:

Alternatively, payments can be made in cash, by credit card, or EFTPOS at our office.
Child Care Subsidy
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) amount a family is eligible for is determined by three factors:
- Combined annual family income
- Activity test – the activity levels of both parents
- Service type – the type of childcare service and whether the child is attending school
The CCS is typically paid directly to the service provider, which then reduces the fees payable by
families. Families are responsible for paying the difference between the fee charged and the
subsidy amount. Additional fee assistance is available for vulnerable families through the Child
Care Safety Net.

Holidays and Public Holidays
Standard fees apply during your child’s holidays or if their booked day falls on a public holiday. Shooting Stars does not offer discounts for holidays. However, you are still eligible for CCS from Centrelink for these periods.
Allowable Absences
Centrelink permits up to 42 allowable absences per financial year, which includes sick days,
holidays, and public holidays. CCS will be paid for these absences. Should your child be absent for
more than 42 days, you will need to provide a medical certificate, or full fees will apply.
